The Science of Sleep: A Specialist’s Guide to Better Nights and Brighter Days

We spend roughly one-third of our lives asleep, so it’s crucial to make every moment of rest count. Yet for many adults, sleep is often disrupted, affecting mood, focus, and overall wellbeing.

Join Consultant Neurologist Dr Sofia Eriksson and Specialist Sleep ENT Surgeon Mr Ryan Chin Taw Cheong for a clinical perspective on sleep, drawing on both neurological and ENT expertise.

This accessible session will explore the physiology of sleep, explaining the different sleep stages and what happens when our sleep patterns are disrupted. Attendees will learn about normal sleep and gain insights from real-world patient cases, highlighting the variety of sleep issues specialists encounter.

With a focus on early awareness and practical understanding, this session will equip attendees to recognise signs of disrupted sleep, know when professional input may be useful, and take concrete steps to improve their understanding of this essential part of life.

Webinar Duration: About 30 minutes, plus time for questions and answers.
