In celebration of International Women’s Day, leading gynaecologist and policy advisor Professor Dame Lesley Regan will be in conversation about the various lifetime essentials that can help to empower women during the different stages of their lives. 

Based on her “life-course approach” to women’s health, she will provide insights on preventative steps that can help to safeguard women from developing health complications further down the line. From cervical screening to menopause and general health considerations, Professor Regan will offer a complete portrait of the various factors that women need to be aware of.

Further topics include:

  • What tests should you be taking and when
  • Unpacking women’s sexual health
  • Fertility and pregnancy
  • Understanding breast cancer
  • Women’s general health and wellbeing (sleep, nutrition, exercise).

Your speaker:

Professor Dame Lesley Regan is a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist based at St Mary’s Hospital, London. She is a committed advocate of her “life-course approach” to women’s health, which focuses on the various factors that shape women’s health at the different stages of their lives. Professor Regan was recently awarded a doctorate by University College London and regularly advises on policy matters concerning women’s health to the NHS and government.
